How does the free preview work?
We text you a private link to a TextTune listen page. Play the full song up to 3 times within 48 hours and read the lyrics. Love it? Tap “Keep it forever” and we text you the MP3 to keep; the page unlocks a download too. Preview links can’t be downloaded or shared publicly.
How do I get the best song?
Share details! Include names, the occasion, a memory or inside joke, a genre or mood, and a few favorite things. Example: “An upbeat country song for my mom Linda’s 60th. She loves gardening and her dog Biscuit.” See more tips.
How good do the songs sound?
Unbelievably good: real vocals, full studio-quality production, and lyrics written about your person. Hear it free first — your first preview is on us.
How fast do I get my song?
Usually in about a minute. During busy times it can take a few minutes longer.
Do I need an app or account?
No. Just text your idea. Your phone number is all we need.
What does it cost?
Your first preview is free (one per phone number): a private link that plays the full song up to 3 times within 48 hours. Songs to keep are $3.99 each, or save with credit packs: 3 for $9.99 or 10 for $24.99. Credits don’t expire. See Pricing.
Who owns my song?
You do 💜 When the clean copy of a song you paid for (with a single purchase or a credit) is delivered, TextTune assigns you all of our rights in it. Songs we delivered free under earlier offers are yours too. Use it however you like, including commercially: share it, post it, sell it, stream it. Preview listen links, including your free preview, aren’t included until you keep the song. Songs made mostly by AI may not be copyrightable, so we can’t guarantee copyright protection, and you’re responsible for not infringing anyone else’s rights. See our Terms.
Can I change my song?
Yes! Text REMIX: <change>, like REMIX: make it a lullaby. Each song gets one free remix; after that a remix is 1 credit. Your free preview can be remixed up to 3 times.
What are credits?
One credit = one clean song (or one extra remix). Text CREDITS to see your balance. If you have credits, a new song request uses one automatically and the clean song arrives directly. If a song can’t be made, the credit comes right back. Credits don’t expire.
What if something goes wrong?
If a song fails to arrive or has a technical problem, contact us and we’ll redo it or refund you. See our Refund Policy.
How do I stop messages? How do I get help?
Text STOP any time to stop messages, START to turn them back on, and HELP for help.
What do you do with my phone number?
We use it only to provide TextTune. We never sell or share your number for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
Is there anything I can’t request?
No hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent or illegal content, nothing that puts down a real person, and no copying a real singer’s voice or existing lyrics. Naming an artist for the vibe is great, though! Declined requests never use a credit. See Acceptable use.
